Ka-band

VSAT (very small aperture terminal) is a two way satellite ground or stabilized maritime VSAT antenna with a dish antenna.

VSAT are used to transmit broadband data to provide stable and reliable internet access to remote locations where IP communications seemed impossible.

Components of  VSAT system: 

• Ground based electronic equipment:

1. VSAT dish.
2. VSAT indoor modem.
3. teleport.
4. Network operation center (NOC).

• Satellite equipment:

1. Satellite.
2. Transponder space segment (communication channels on satellite that receive and transmit data ).
3. Internet backbone (Routers).

We have partnered up with Avanti Communications, and can offer a Ka-band satellite connection (HYLAS2) to both businesses and homes across Iraq. With Ka-band comes the latest technology in satellite broadband, covering many parts of the Middle East including Iraq.
